Operations Manager

What You’ll Actually Do
This business currently runs through the founder. That is the exact problem this role exists to solve. You build the SOPs, own project management across client engagements, manage vendor and contractor relationships, and make sure the machine keeps running when the founder is focused elsewhere.

Responsibilities
- Document and systematize all core business processes into clear, usable SOPs
- Own project management across all active client engagements
- Manage vendor, contractor, software, and tool relationships
- Find operational bottlenecks and fix them before they become real problems
- Keep team members coordinated across deliverables so nothing slips
- Build internal reporting so the founder has visibility without needing to be in every conversation
What Success Looks Like
- Core business processes are documented and operational within 60 days
- The founder can step away for a full week without business quality dropping
- No client deliverable misses a deadline because of internal coordination failure
- A new team member can onboard using your SOPs without needing a walkthrough
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in operations, chief of staff, or business management at a small company
- Strong process design and documentation skills. You have examples you can show.
- Project management tool proficiency (Notion, Asana, ClickUp, or similar)
- You build systems that other people can follow without you explaining it every time
- AI and automation fluency. You use it to get operational work done faster.
- High attention to detail without getting paralyzed by it
